Installing Sahora on your phone

Add Sahora to your home screen on Android or iPhone.

You can add Sahora to your phone's home screen so it opens like an app, full screen and without the browser's address bar. There is nothing to download: Sahora runs in your phone's browser. This guide shows how on Android and iPhone.

Before you start

Android (Chrome)

  1. Sign in to Sahora in Chrome.
  2. If a line at the top says Install Sahora on this device, tap it and confirm.
  3. If you don't see that line, tap the ⋮ menu, then Add to Home screen (or Install app).
  4. Tap Install or Add when Chrome asks.

iPhone (Safari)

  1. Sign in to Sahora in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow).
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add.

Sahora shows the same reminder at the top of the page: "Add Sahora to your home screen: tap Share then Add to Home Screen."

Using Sahora from the home screen

  • Tap the Sahora icon. It opens at your workspace, or the list of workspaces if you have more than one.
  • Sign in as usual. Your login stays the same.
  • Every workspace works this way: the employee portal, My team for supervisors and the company workspace.
  • Use Help and the links on the page to move around, since the installed app has no browser bar.

Clocking in from your phone

If your company accepts clock-ins only from a phone, the Clock in / out page on a computer shows Clock in from your phone with a code to scan. Scan it with your phone's camera to open the same page there. See Clocking in and out.

Without signal

  • Pages need a connection. Without one, you see "You're offline" and a Try again link.
  • If your company allows it, clock-ins you make without signal are kept on the phone and sent when you are back online.
  • You can keep a payslip's figures on the phone: open the payslip and tap Keep on this phone. The figures (not the PDF) then open from the offline page. Tap Remove to take them off.

What can go wrong

  • No install option in the menu. Make sure you are in Chrome (Android) or Safari (iPhone), not in an app's built-in browser such as one opened from a chat app. Copy the link into Chrome or Safari.
  • You tapped "Not now" on the install line. It doesn't come back on that browser, but you can still install from the browser's menu as above.
  • The camera or location doesn't work when clocking in. Allow them when the phone asks, or turn them on for your browser in the phone's settings.

Good to know

  • To remove Sahora, press and hold the icon and remove it like any app. Your account and records stay in Sahora.
  • On a shared phone, sign out when you are done (Sign out at the top).

Where this guide gives a rate, limit or number of days set by law, it is the one in force today, 24 October 2026, from the official tables Sahora uses for payroll.
