You ask for a Sahora account with the Get started form on sahora.ph. This guide explains each part of the form, the plan choices and what happens after you send it.
Before you start
- Sahora is for businesses: corporations, partnerships, sole proprietorships and cooperatives. It can't be used for a household employing kasambahay.
- Each registered business has its own account and is billed separately. If you run more than one, sign up for each one.
Fill in the form
- Go to Get started, or click a plan's button on Pricing.
- Under Who is the employer?, choose A business (corporation, partnership, sole proprietorship or cooperative).
- Type the Company name, Your name and your Work email. The invitation to set up your account goes to this email.
- Choose Your position (see below).
- Type the Number of employees and, if you like, your Mobile number (optional).
- Choose a Plan (see below).
- Fill in the optional registration details: Registration (optional), Registration number (optional) and Company TIN (optional).
- Tick both boxes: that you have read the privacy notice, and that you accept the Terms of Service, Data Processing Agreement, Acceptable Use Policy and Billing and Refunds Policy for the company.
- Complete the security check and click Send request.
Your position
Choose the one that fits you:
- Owner / President / CEO
- Treasurer / CFO / VP-Finance
- Human Resources / Finance / Accounting
Anyone can set the company up. If you choose Human Resources / Finance / Accounting, your company's owner or a Treasurer / CFO / VP-Finance must join before the first payroll can be approved. Setup and imports go ahead meanwhile. See Your first payroll and the owner-level rule.
The plan choices
- Free plan: for small teams, with no time limit.
- Plus: every feature at a fixed monthly fee, for small teams. It starts paid as soon as your account is approved.
- Free trial: every feature for a trial period, no card needed. Choose monthly or annual billing before the trial ends to keep going.
- Subscribe now, no trial: a paid plan that starts as soon as your account is approved.
The employee limits, the trial length and the prices are on Pricing. The line under the Plan field tells you what happens next for the plan you chose. See Plans and what the Free Plan includes.
If you'd like our team to run your payroll for you, tick the box for a quote for Sahora Managed. Ticking it adds no charge, and you can also ask later from the Billing page.
After you send it
- You see "Thank you! We received your request." Our team reviews it, and once it is approved you get an email with a link to set up your account. See Signing in for the first time.
- Some Free plan requests are set up straight away. You then see "Your Free plan account is ready." and the email comes at once.
- The link in the email expires after a while and can be used once. If it has expired, use Forgot password? on the sign-in page with the same email.
- If you chose Plus or Subscribe now, choose monthly or annual billing on the Billing page after you sign in.
What can go wrong
- "You already have an existing Free Plan." Sahora allows one Free Plan per person and per business. You can click the button to start a free trial instead, or Ask for a review and tell us about your business.
- The Free or Plus plan is for a smaller team. If your employee count is above the limit, the form asks you to choose the free trial or a paid plan.
- "The security check didn't pass. Please try again." Send the form again once the check has finished.
Good to know
- On the Free plan, Sahora checks your details against existing Free Plan accounts and keeps a coded record of the network you used, never the address itself.
