For supervisors: My team

Approve your team's requests and clock-ins, and name a stand-in.

For:Supervisor

Basahin sa Filipino

If you supervise a department, My team in the portal is where you approve your team's requests and check their clock-ins. This guide covers each part of the page and how to name a stand-in while you are away.

Before you start

  • Supervisors use two-step verification. The first time you sign in, Sahora shows Set up two-step verification: install an authenticator app, tap I have the app: show QR code, scan it, type the 6-digit code and tap Verify. Then Add a backup authenticator asks for a second one, on another device or in a backed-up app.
  • Your departments are assigned by the company's owner or payroll officer. Team members lists the people in them.
  • Most of My team is in English, even when the portal is set to Filipino.

Approve requests

My team has a card for each kind of request: Leave to approve, Official business waiting, Overtime to approve, Claims to approve and Time corrections to approve.

  1. Read the request: the employee, the dates or hours, and the reason.
  2. Optional: type a note for the employee in Note (optional).
  3. Tap Approve or Reject.

What to check on each:

  • Leave: days are counted on the employee's workdays. Team leave at the top shows who is off each month; days with two or more people off are highlighted.
  • Overtime: Sahora shows what the time log says about that day. Approved hours are paid only up to the time actually worked after the regular day.
  • Official business: a day without a clock-in is credited as the scheduled hours and flagged for HR. Overtime that day needs its own approval.
  • Claims: open the receipts. Business expense reimbursements should have official receipts in the company's name.
  • Time corrections: compare the times asked for with the punches that day and any proof attached.

Where your company asks for a second approval of leave, your approval endorses the request and the payroll officer or owner approves it.

Review clock-ins

Clock-ins to review lists punches the checks marked for a look, with the reasons. Held punches don't count until someone approves them.

  1. Type a note if needed.
  2. Tap Approve to count the punch, Reject so it doesn't count, or Ask to explain to ask the employee. Reject and Ask to explain need a note.

New phones are approved by HR, not here. Clock-ins without a location and Clock-ins made without signal are for your information: ask the employee if something looks wrong.

Break punches to check

Break punches to check lists missed or out-of-order break punches from the last 14 days. Sahora applied the scheduled break. Tap Accept scheduled break if that is right, or ask the employee to file a correction with the break times. Undo acceptance reverses it.

Name a stand-in while you are away

  1. Under Away? Let someone approve for you, choose the person in Approves for you. They must already approve in your company.
  2. Choose From and Until: today or later, up to 92 days.
  3. Optional: add a Note (optional), then tap Delegate.

The stand-in sees your team's requests and decides them during those dates. The list shows current and upcoming stand-ins; tap End to stop one early.

What can go wrong

  • "Under this company's approval rules, the owner or a payroll officer decides this request.": your company sends this kind of request to them. Leave it for them.
  • "Check the person and the dates (today or later, up to 92 days).": correct the stand-in form.
  • "No departments assigned to you yet.": ask the owner or payroll officer to assign your departments.

Good to know

  • You never decide your own requests. Yours go to another supervisor of your department, or to the owner, payroll officers and payroll approvers.
  • You get a notification for each new request, and a reminder when one has waited two days or more.
  • For your own clock-ins and requests, see Clocking in and out and Filing leave, overtime and official business.

Where this guide gives a rate, limit or number of days set by law, it is the one in force today, 24 October 2026, from the official tables Sahora uses for payroll.
