Employer numbers and the payroll bank account

Your SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG employer numbers and the account payroll is paid from.

For:Owner / Management

Your SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG employer numbers go on the remittance lists and files Sahora prepares for the agencies. The payroll bank account is the account your payouts are paid from. This guide shows how to enter both and keep them correct.

Before you start

  • Only an Owner / Management user (or your accounting firm) can change these. Other users see the card without a save button.
  • Have your registration papers from each agency and your bank at hand.

Enter your employer numbers

  1. Open Company setup and scroll to Employer numbers and payroll bank account.
  2. Type each number in its first box, then type it again in the second box. The second box doesn't accept pasting.
    • SSS employer number: 13 digits. For the head office, the 10-digit number is enough; Sahora adds 000.
    • PhilHealth employer number (PEN): 12 digits.
    • Pag-IBIG employer ID: 12 digits.
    • Pag-IBIG RTN (until the employer ID is issued): the registration tracking number of a newly registered employer, 12 digits.
  3. Click Save employer numbers and bank. You see "Saved."

You don't type the dashes: the boxes add them as you type and drop any other character.

Enter the payroll bank account

  1. On the same card, type the Payroll bank (code), for example BDO or BPI.
  2. Type the Account name.
  3. Type the account number in Account number, then again in the second box.
  4. Click Save employer numbers and bank.

The account number is stored encrypted. The screen shows only its last four digits.

Import the numbers instead

If your company details are already in a spreadsheet, click Import company details on the card. It brings in your registered name, TIN, RDO, address, employer numbers, contact person and branches in one go. See Importing your data.

Bank payroll files

The card Bank payroll files in Company setup opens Banks. It lists the banks your employees are paid through and whether each bank's upload file is ready.

  • A bank file can be made for a bank once Sahora has set up that bank's file and you have entered the values the bank gave your company (an Owner / Management user enters them on the bank's card and clicks Save).
  • For a bank not set up yet, the page says "Bank template not yet configured. Contact Sahora support."
  • Until then, pay from the internal disbursement list on the payroll. See Payout and the journal entry.

What can go wrong

  • "SSS employer number: the two entries don't match. Type the number again in both boxes." Type it again, slowly, in both boxes.
  • "SSS employer number: 13 digits (or the 10-digit number for the head office)." Check the number of digits.
  • "PhilHealth employer number: 12 digits." or "Pag-IBIG employer ID: 12 digits." Check the number against your registration.
  • "SSS employer number: numbers only." Remove letters or other characters.

Good to know

  • The guided setup counts the employer numbers step done when all three are on file, and the bank step done when the account is on file (see The guided setup).
  • If the same employer number is on file for more than one company, it is listed for Sahora's team to check.

Where this guide gives a rate, limit or number of days set by law, it is the one in force today, 24 October 2026, from the official tables Sahora uses for payroll.
