Sahora bills your company with a billing statement. This guide shows where to find your statements, how to read them, how to pay and what happens if a statement is overdue.
Before you start
- Billing is on the Billing page, which owners and payroll officers can open. Only owners choose the billing cycle, change the plan or cancel.
- A billing statement is not a BIR invoice. The official invoice is issued separately.
See this month so far
Open Billing. The first card shows the month so far:
- your plan's status, for example Free trial or Active;
- the billable employees this month: employees with at least one finalized pay from your company this month (final pay or 13th month only doesn't count);
- the Projected fee for the month, or for annual billing, any employees above the number you prepaid.
The figures follow the price list in force, the same one shown on Pricing.
Read a billing statement
- Open Billing and go to Billing statements.
- Click a statement's number to open it.
Each statement shows the period, the due date, each line with its quantity and amount, the VAT shown separately, the total and any payments received. Its status is Unpaid, Paid, Overdue or Void.
Statements are issued at each month end for the month just ended, and at the start of an annual term for the prepayment. Trial months are free. A statement can't change once issued.
Pay a statement
- Open Billing and read How to pay: Sahora's account details are shown there.
- Pay by bank transfer, InstaPay or check by the due date on the statement.
- If you withhold tax, send BIR Form 2307 with your payment. You can reply to the statement email with the payment details and the 2307.
Sahora records your payment, and the statement then shows Paid with the payment, including any creditable withholding tax covered by your 2307.
Reminders and overdue statements
Sahora emails you when a statement is issued, shortly before it is due and on the due date. If a statement stays unpaid:
- New payroll runs are paused. A banner says "A billing statement is overdue: new payroll runs are paused." Your data stays viewable and exportable. A payroll already submitted can still be approved and paid.
- Later, the subscription is suspended. The workspace becomes read-only, but you can still view and export your data.
Everything opens again once the statement is paid. If you have already paid, reply to the reminder email with the payment details so we can record it.
Optional services
Under Optional services on Billing, you can ask our team to do onboarding work for you. Click Request, add what you need and click Send request. Our team confirms the amount, and the service is billed once, as its own line on your next statement. Setting up on your own is always free.
What can go wrong
- "Sahora's account details will appear here before your first billing statement is issued." You have no statement yet. The account details appear before the first one.
- "... employees: custom quote. Contact Sahora for your rate." Your headcount needs a rate from Sahora. Contact support@sahora.ph.
- A statement shows as Overdue after you paid. Payments are recorded by Sahora. Reply to the statement email with the payment details.
Good to know
- Prices on the price list include VAT unless the Billing page says otherwise, and each statement shows the VAT separately.
- Each registered business is billed separately. Its registered name, registration and TIN are under Business registration on Billing and are set on Company setup.
- To choose monthly or annual billing, see Monthly or annual billing, and cancelling.
